Designing a campaign to raise funding for care homes for older people

The Brendoncare Foundation, a charity which specialises in care for older people, decided that it needed to upgrade its facilities and make special provision for the care of people living with Dementia within its care homes. A Trust was set up to raise the necessary funds. This was a tough fundraising challenge with no immediate attraction to the wider public. However, with a good team of volunteers on the case and with our fundraising consultants advising on the course of action, the Brendoncare Foundation Development Trust raised in excess of £4 million and, as a result, built a new home in East Grinstead and upgraded 3 other homes.
