Setting up a giving campaign to refurbish the Town Hall
Although Stockbridge only has a small population, this former market town is the proud possessor of a fine Town Hall. Prior to its fundraising campaign, the Hall had become a little tired and did not possess the modern facilities that would enable it to provide a flexible space for local activities. Stefan Lipa Fundraising Consultancy advised the trustees on setting up a fundraising campaign to completely refurbish the Hall both upstairs and down with new kitchen facilities and a beautiful outside courtyard. This is now complete, with flexible space on two floors. The annex (formerly a neighbouring property at the time the hall was built) has been converted into attractive space, housing staircase, lift, second floor kitchen and other facilities. The hall is now is in great demand for local events.
Having worked with Stefan Lipa on several projects, I have seen the invaluable contribution he makes to the challenging process of galvanising a fundraising team. His ability to simplify the challenging process of raising significant sums inspires and empowers the teams he works with to achieve their fundraising goals. His in-depth knowledge of the core processes required for successful fundraising campaigns, including the development of strategic and targeted communication plans, together with his mentoring skills and insight from years of experience, give confidence to the team members to approach potential donors. I would advise any community group looking to launch a fundraising exercise to seek advice from Stefan.
