A fundraising audit and preparing a plan of action to support the Festival
In 2014 Lyndon Jones took on the Artistic Directorship at Swansea International Festival, and quickly discovered the scale of the funding challenges he faced. Sensing a need for professional advice and guidance, Lyndon approached Stefan Lipa Fundraising Consultancy for assistance in developing long–term funding strategies for the Festival.
Stefan Lipa Fundraising Consultancy reviewed the history and background of the Festival, worked with Lyndon to prepare a Case for Support, held confidential meetings with Festival stakeholders and constituencies, and prepared a detailed report which provided both a series of recommendations about steps the Festival could take to improve the climate for fundraising, and a detailed fundraising plan of action to chart the way forward.
It was a privilege and a joy for Stefan Lipa Fundraising Consultanty to meet and work with so many dedicated people who have long been associated with the Festival, as well as members of the Swansea community - passionate about the Festival, its history and its future.
